Our Mission

Veterans Evaluation Services, a Maximus company, honors America’s Veterans and transitioning service members and supports them in the medical disability exam process. We provide high-quality, timely reports through fair and objective evaluations performed by trained professionals in a respectful and hospitable environment. 

How We Serve Veterans and Service Members

We work with Veterans, providers, and Veterans Service Organizations (VSOs) to provide support in the medical disability claims process. We also provide medical disability exams for transitioning service members participating in the Benefits Delivery at Discharge (BDD) and Integrated Disability Evaluation System (IDES) programs. Our clinicians conduct exams in about 3,100 locations in the United States and in more than 800 international locations.

Our Veteran Liaisons are Veterans themselves, providing a personal connection with Veterans and an understanding of their needs. Veteran Liaisons proactively communicate with Veterans about their exam appointments and regularly communicate with VSOs about the Veteran experience.

Our Clinic Intake Specialists, many of whom are Veterans or family members of Veterans, are accessible on-site for nearly all examinations to provide a welcoming and personalized experience.

A global network of providers

The 6,500+ clinicians in our network conduct exams for Veterans and transitioning service members. Our clinicians specialize in general medicine, psychology, psychiatry, neurology, neurosurgery, PM&R/physical medicine and rehabilitation, ophthalmology/optometry, dentistry, and audiology to meet many medical disability exam needs. We’ve also expanded services to include international claims.
