Veterans Evaluation Services (VES), a Maximus company, is helping to reach more Veterans than ever with its state-of-the-art, accessible Mobile Medical Clinics. Operating on behalf of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), the clinics expand access to timely, accurate medical disability examinations for Veterans in remote and rural locations. Since 2025, VES has also partnered with medical service providers offering diagnostic support—expanding the breadth of services available to Veterans in underserved areas. The wheelchair-accessible mobile units offer state-of-the-art technology, are administered by board-certified medical professionals in the VES Provider Network, and offer the same professional service available in VES’s 3,000+ professional clinic locations.

What is the VES Mobile Medical Clinic program?
VES Mobile Medical Clinics are retrofitted RVs designed with care to industry standards specifically for medical purposes. The clinics travel to all geographic regions of service established by the VA. Veterans can expect:
- Quality, timely, accurate compensation and pension (C&P) exams – Also known as medical disability examinations, C&P exams administered at a VES Mobile Medical Clinic are provided by board-certified clinicians who have met standard requirements of the VES Provider Network. - Diagnostic services – Since the initiation of the Mobile Unit fleet, VES has been rendering Audiometry and Visual Field Testing. Effective this year, Mobile Medical Clinic dispatches may include supporting mobile Xray, Electrocardiogram (EKG/ECG), Echocardiogram (Echo) and Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT).
- Modern medical equipment and technology – The mobile units feature leading medical technology and equipment for hearing, dental, vision, neurological, psychological, and general exams.
- A safe, accessible, comfortable clinical setting – All VES Mobile Medical Clinics are wheelchair accessible and operated by specialized driving staff who are fully vetted to manage each unit and provide a welcoming, safe, and comfortable experience for each Veteran.

How do VES Mobile Medical Clinics support areas with limited local resources?
Our mobile units frequently return to locations with limited local clinical infrastructure and travel options for Veterans, and in fact are sometimes the only option for timely access to exams and diagnostic services for housebound Veterans. The Mobile Medical Clinics can often reach them more quickly than arranging travel to the nearest brick-and-mortar clinic location. (In these cases, the clinics may also help ease the burden on Veteran caregivers who are often relied on for transportation to medical appointments.) By meeting Veterans where they are, the Mobile Medical Clinic program reduces wait times, expands equitable access, and helps the VA in its mission to improve service delivery.
